Shoulder

Drop shoulder, 3.5 cm drop — Flat-felled, 1.2 cm

Neck

Convertible one-piece collar, fused, sits flat open or closed · rib height: 7 cm · topstitch: Edge-stitch 0.2 cm + 0.6 cm

Closure

Centre-front placket, 3.2 cm, seven 18L buttons · hardware: Corozo or matte resin, 4-hole, tonal

Sleeve hem

6 cm single-button barrel cuff, 6 cm

Body hem

2.5 cm turned hem, twin-needle. Straight hem all round — no shirttail curve; the straight hem is what makes it read as outerwear

Two chest patch pockets, 13 x 14 cm, bar-tacked at the corners, no flaps

• Fuse the collar and placket only. Every first-timer who fuses the fronts ends up with something that feels like a uniform shirt.

• Straight hem, not a shirttail. It is a two-centimetre decision that changes whether the piece reads as a shirt or a jacket.

• Back print area: 30 x 26 cm, starting 12 cm below the yoke seam.
